"We want to make sure we represent your needs and interests, or at least a version of your skin colour"

The text for this generic brand ad first appeared on McSweeney's, ">where it was very witty. But it reached genius level when applied to stock video of the sort used by petrol companies and McDonalds to convinceus they're not just corporatised psychopaths.

Brilliant. I've being trying to find an ad for HSBC thats been on my mind for days, that fulfills everyone of those cliches. Basically generic 'smug business investor' bloke attends various world locations, looking at stuff like factories, views of Hong Kong, wanky office buildings. Sort of like the late Kim Jong Il. All the while spruiking corporate-speak nothingisms like 'when I am asked ifI should invest in business I say 'what business should I invest in?'' and other such utter horseshit. It used to make me want to throw things at the TV when it was being shown...essentially it was the same ad with an actual brand name inserted.
